Last Saturday, 20th January 2018, over one hundred people attended an event, organised by the Rosny Hill Friends Network, at Rosny Lookout.
Rosalie Woodruff (member for Franklin) David O'Byrne and Allison Standish (Franklin candidates at the next state election) and the Honorable Julie Collins MHR, all attended.
It was disappointing that there were no local government representatives present nor were any members of the Hodgman government there.
Network members realise that politicians lead demanding lives but the transfer of public land into private hands is an issue that demands deep concern. It does not matter whether such transfer is by sale or lease. Members of the public are concerned about public property.

Peter Edwards, Convenor of the Network addressed the crowd about our Position Paper, which can be obtained by emailing rosnyhillfiends210@gmail.com
There was then a question and answer session. One concerned resident sought clarification about the demands on local government Councillors under the Tasmanian Planning Laws.
Here is the crowd listening to Rosalie Woodruff, who answered the question and posted this picture on Facebook.
We have a video of her answer. Find it on our Facebook page at the link below
